The Synapse 19 is an all-around excellent backpack. I have been using it for nearly a year now. It still looks brand new. The backpack comes with two large main compartments and has lots of smaller pockets and pouches.
The back panel is padded, and the shoulder straps are padded as well. The only downside I found is that the zippers are not waterproof so if you use a laptop.
