Design: Excellent for Extended Excursions
The Maxlite 5 spinner is an excellent choice for lengthy vacations or large families. We used the 29-inch model, but it also comes in 25- and 21-inch sizes.
I struggled to keep things organized in the main compartment since it was so large.
The packing sections are typical for a soft-shell suitcase, with one main compartment (142 liters capacity), two outside compartments, a full-length internal flap pocket, and a side accessory pocket.

Unfortunately, the luggage continued toppling over as it came to a complete stop. I had to either hold it or position it against a wall or counter.
This also meant that I couldn’t stack any totes or laptop bags on top of it. This isn’t a deal breaker for me, but I can see how it might be for others.

The Aspire XLite, like the Maxlite, is a lightweight, expandable polyester bag with 360-degree rotating spinning wheels. The Aspire includes two locking handle positions, side and top handles, and the ability to roll upright.

Do You Need to Upgrade From a Travelpro Maxlite 4 to a Travelpro Maxlite 5?
If you already possess a Maxlite 4 suitcase, I don’t believe you need to upgrade. That’s because all of the characteristics remained mostly the same, with the only difference between the previous collection and this one is the weight of the bags.
That said, if you have the Maxlite 3, 2, or pretty much any other suitcase that isn’t nearly as amazing as this one, you should certainly upgrade.
